The screws to get the plastic cap off on the GPU will be hard to get off. I'll see what I can do.

since the cards are a year old,i would replace the thermal paste and clean the fins and fan real good.

What gpu monitoring software (MSI Afterburner, Asus...., et merda) are you using? Did all the fields get reset when you switched mo-bo's?

I'm using Afterburner. And yes I think everything got reset. My GPU wasn't overclocked to begin with.

Use a can of compressed air and spray out the dust in your GPU heatsink.
