Your CPU has not degraded with a measly 1.36v over any amount of significant time, let alone only 4 months.

Yes, I bought the 7-7-7-20 kit, and have tightened the timings down. I'm very pleased with this memory so far.

Please provide advice instead of insulting me. I did not say cpu degradation. I have been very careful to say that I do not know what is going wrong.

I am trying to locate another 1366 mobo to try out, I just need to hear back from a friend with a 920.

I insulted you? Yikes, I would hate to see the reaction when someone actually says something insulting.

Calm down. I was more or less talking to the people in the thread yelling "degradation!!"

No worries, I wasn't upset and reading over it again I can see that it was a bit harsh.

UPDATE: It runs 4GHz like a champ at 1.35 and a QPI of 1.32 with 150 runs of ITB passed. I'm gonna keep it at 4Ghz and work on getting the QPI as low as I can.

There was a similar thread about CPU degrading already. The CPU was not the culprit. Read this thread 5th post down from PapaSmurf himself. It solved this guys problem.

This worked on 2 other stable rigs, before ,so it is easy to try and does not take long. From PapaSmurf:
Now open up an elevated Command Prompt (run as administrator) and type in sfc /scannow, hit enter, and allow it to see if it can fix anything in Windows. Once that is done open up0 another elevated Command Prompt and type in chkdsk /r, hit enter, and then reply with a Y when prompted that it can't run now, do you want to run it the next time you reboot (or something to that effect), then restart the system to allow it to run. Depending on how many errors it finds and the size of your OS partition this could take anywhere from 20 minutes to a couple of hours to complete.
