Suggestions for Budget LGA775 Build

I've been tossing around the idea of building my girlfriend a computer for a while now, and I'm finally in a position where I can do so. I'm running on a tight budget of ~$400, but I already have some of the components sitting around from older computers. The reason I'm going so low-tech / low-budget with this build is because she'll only use it for youtube, Facebook, school work, iTunes.. no gaming or graphic design stuff. LGA775 seemed like a good choice (mainly because I live near a microcenter ) and I can pick up a Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Duo for $60 - $80. Having said that, here's my build so far:

BIOSTAR G31D-M7

Intel E5700

G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB)

Rosewill R101

HP DVD/RW

I was thinking of doing an Nvidia 210 or GT240 for graphics, because from what I hear, the onboard fails massively.

I have a PSU, HDD, and an OS.

My choices for OS are XP Home or Vista Home Premium 32-Bit I'm not sure which one of these I'll use, but I am sure that I don't want to buy another $100 copy of Windows 7.

So my question to you is, should I change or add anything to this build? Or should I just get a laptop instead

Thanks guys

Get this for memory instead:

Cheaper, simpler, and gives you option for 2x2 dual channel if her system ever goes 64bit. Your not benching so the difference in timing and speed has no meaning in her setup.
Heat spreaders don't do squat at 1.8v at stock settings anyways.

You can take a look at the G41. If you OC the chip, then take the $49.99 E5500.
