SSD RAID 0 or just a single HDD? - Page 2

I say buy an SSD if you play games that have any zoning or map loading. I have an 80gb SSD on Comp1 and it easily fits my 4 most commonly played games and my OS with room to spare. If you're a hoarder that thinks you need 75 games that you never play to stay on your hard drive, then that won't work for you. Raiding another 7200 rpm drive would be a waste of money as you won't notice any difference, so either go big storage or grab an SSD. My vote goes for the SSD.

At the moment I need storage more than performance, and the SSD still isn't cheap.
So it seems the single f3 is my best bet. (Though I hope to get an SSD in the future.)

I like my ssd+F3 setup, but the F3 alone is only slightly noticeably slower than my old raid0 setup with some seagate 7200rmp drives so its def a good buy. can always grab a second one and short stroke for even more performance and decend capacity
