Kids never do. Then they grow up and they care. Its all psychology.

But you gotta admit. This is gonna sell hard core. And a lot of money will be made. It gives print papers that "boost" they need.

This is a big deal, like they're the first newspaper to offer a digital subscription? Oh... the first digital newspaper that, instead of making themselves available to all through a website, makes themselves available only to a specific device. Yes, this will probably sell, but only for the gimmick of being "the only newspaper that was stupid enough to limit themselves to a single device." I would give it three years until death, but it will probably last longer since they'll save massive costs by reusing research/fact checks from articles from their other holdings. Either way, it's going to be the same old stupidity, but with a better UI.

Also, they should rename it "The Daily Maxi"

Their loss. Almost all original news comes from print media. It then trickles down to other sources, who make minor changes based on their format. Teens are too shortsighted to realize how important print is to the news hierarchy.

Newspapers = FTP/Usenet
Network TV = Private torrents
Blogs/online news = Retarded Pirate Bay leechers

Remove FTP/Usenet and the rest crumbles.

If the 2nd iPad gets USB, plays nice with YouTube, has a good cameras (front and back), and is priced right, I'll buy one just so I can play PSX/GBA games on it.

depends on what news you want. Most of the things newspapers talk about don't interest me. Science>stupid babies fighting over their politics, waaaahcism, their stupid religions, and all the "big deals".
