Wiped ALL my photos, can't get them back!!

I thought I had backed them up, and well, evidently not.
I re-installed my operating system not once, but twice (re-formatted twice), I have just used EASEUS Data Recovery to try and find them (i'm pretty sure they were .jpg images, most of them were taken from my mobile phone so I guess it uses jpg) and nothing comes up other than some pointless internet images/logos/banners/adverts etc.

Is there any way to get them back?

I also lost all of my videos. I had a LOT of home movie collections and a lot of edited movie productions/projects, I don't do it professionally so it's not a huge deal but I had gaming videos, videos of nights out and a movie I was working one. The thing is, I did not delete these files, I transferred them to my laptop and my laptop was stolen. Am I right in saying there is no way to get them back? I think these programs only work with things that have been deleted through recycle bin?

actually I use getdataback for ntfs. i have recovered files after 4 full formats. you can choose at least 4 formats deep on the mbr.

Im in a similar boat as the op
I was backing up data to dvd in win7, copied the contents to dvd, had to go somewhere quickly and deleted the "files to be burnt"
I ran ccleaner (one pass) the next mourning (thinking all was well)

the original files are still on my hdd but cannot be opened in any program Ive tried, file sizes are still the same thou.

I tried recuva but no luckn its only 2 months worth of data but still annoying, nye pics etc

Ok I'll try the software recommended and get back to you guys.
Really annoying, I hope I can get them back, they have been accumulated over years, guess I should have backed them up on disk regularly! Fool of a took! =\\

Icare data recovery is also a nice one too. If you like to try it go here for it.

EASEUS Photo Recovery might do the trick also for you.

lol at guy suggesting recuva. If Easeus cant find them, no one can. Maybe Military Softies.

Sorry for your loss bro. But its your own mistake. 'Fool of a took'. Good good
