CPU Dependant. You can put a GTX580 in a Core 2 duo/Q6600 Rig and not see much improvement.

But yes, it will help you a bit, in raids and stuff. Not just for WoW, it will help ALOT more in other games.

My comp has a 5770 and in heavily populated cities I get on average 25 fps, but in other areas like dungeons, raids, pvp, and leveling I normally stay in the 50-60 fps range but running very smooth overall.

I can confirm this information, WoW does become very cpu/hdd limited when in busy areas, the 5770 should be able to run with straight out high settings, with maybe the odd setting pushed into ultra.

Used to play WoW on a single 5770, runs fine at 1920X1080 on Ultra, just make sure to drop the shadow down 1 or 2 settings. Water may be the only real hindrance.
