Will this card:

It sounds like that expander is designed to work with either an onboard RAID chip, or one that ships with that system... it's likely a third party RAID card would not work with it.

This isn't really my area of expertise, but I wouldn't buy it unless someone comes in with a good reason why it would work.

I'm gonna say no. It won't work with that card's bigger brothers, I doubt it will play nice with the lower end of the range.

Those expanders generally work much better with Areca cards, or LSI cards sporting LSI firmware (so no PERCs unfortunately).
