Well when I did update, I didn't opt to do a clean install.. Probably the reason for the issue. I did do a clean install with the older drivers and have no issue. I'm sure now if I did a clean install with the new drivers I probably wouldn't have an issue. But now I'm just going to wait for the next WHQL drivers since I did see a slight impact on my FPS in WoW with the newest drivers...
But I've always had an issue in one way or another. The biggest thing is the HDMI which has never worked... Doesn't even show up in the sound panel. I've been holding off on RMA'ing the card due to it, because I've yet to format since I've installed the card (upgraded from a 9800GTX) and it's probably just a bug. That and I've heard people with X-Fi's have had issues with it in general, so I've just disabled the HD Audio from the device manager. Ever since I've done that I've also not booted up to a light blue screen, which a lot of people have had issues with when the nvidia HD audio is enabled in the device manager.
Once I do get around to doing a complete fresh install and if the no HDMI audio device in the sound panel continues I'll RMA then.
That and the nvidia control panel showing one of my monitors as being capable to doing a higher resolution then it's native has me thinking it's all been driver issues... Which should be fixed with a format down the line.
