I actually rented the fish tank disc from Netflix once just to check it out. They're actually pretty cool and are great for ambiance. I have an extremely large plasma in my living room and it'd be great to have a fish tank or waterfall playing on it while we're eating in the dining room instead of it being turned off. Don't knock it until you try it!

If only all blurays were going for this price

I just received my discs today, so I thought I'd give this 1 bump due to the outstanding quality of the Journey through Space as well as the Waterfall discs. The Underwater Cozumel was pretty cool as well. The fireplace ambiance is exactly what you'd expect, but I was hoping for a few difference setups instead of just 1 long looping scene. At this price though, it's beyond worth it just for the Space, Underwater, and Waterfall discs. Those 3 definitely outclass the others. The Journey Through Space disc is worth it by itself - yes, it's really that good. Anyways, if anyone else bought it, let me know what you think? I'm glad I bit!

I won't lie, I'm usually hesitant about buying stuff like this, but your post helped push me into buying the 7 disc set and my opinion of it is.. *drum roll*

It's worth it.

Very cool stuff especially for a guy like myself that always likes to have something in the background going whether its TV or a movie or music, hell sometimes I leave the DVD menu screen going on in repeat. But this fits perfectly, I even rushed to my parents house the next day to show them this, I thought it was pretty neat. Now, its nothing revolutionary.. but not a bad deal for 7 HD 1080p discs for 25 bucks.

My favorites:
- Underwater Cozumel: This one was my favorite, very awesome and just cool to watch with people (or even yourself) and talk about sealife and all of the cool "glowing" fish and turtles you see. 4 STARS

-Journey through space: Just awesome! Nuff said. 5 STARS

- Coral Reef: I liked this one alot myself because it looks cool on my 2nd monitor and just makes it feel like I got an aquarium right next to me as I surf the net or do work. 4 STARS

-Gallery Moderna: I REALLY liked the first "scene" in this one. It looks really good on a HD monitor. It's basically a pimped out visualization or screen saver, but looks really.. really.. nice and vivid with lots of colors. The other scenes werent as good but they werent horrible either. This one is watchable and the "relaxing techno" music is pretty good as well. 5 STARS (for the first scene)

Personally, I wasnt feeling the waterfall one at all. Just didnt seem that great to me. The "waves of tranquility" is just the beach, and its alright but it simply isnt as good as the other ones. And I havent opened the "classic fireplace" one yet, but I expect it to be good and simple.

Overall, If you like neat things, it's a very good buy. Recommend

Glad you liked it! Btw, in case you didn't see it, you can change the audio from nature sounds only, nature + music, etc.
