IMAP Problems with GMail

So I have Thunderbird for my local client with IMAP setup with my mail accounts, but I am having a problem with the date/time of emails displaying correctly.

What happened was I had email in local folders on my PC that I had downloaded a long time ago with POP through various email accounts, so I dragged them all into my GMail account to put everything in one place, and now my webmail is all screwed up.

My client displays all of the mail fine with the correct dates however my webmail has all of those emails I just dragged into my account as the current date/time as if they were received today. The odd part is when I click on each one it does have the correct date/time in the mail header within the message, but it is incorrect when I am browsing in my inbox. So basically what is happening is I have email from all the way back to 2006 showing up as newer than email that I received yesterday...

So does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
