Hyper212+ Push/Pull

Thread Starter
When i install push/pull, do they need to be the same RPM? Or can i use the original fan on it, and install a similar second one...

Thanks

If you're going to do push/pull you should have the same model of fan on both sides.

That being said, the Blademasters are goodly fans for the 212+ but if you're looking for quiet and awesome cooling, I'd recommend push/pull Gentle Typhoon AP-14s but those don't come cheap .

This worked pretty well for me when I had mine, kinda loud though at full rpm.

Or for a discount,

I would recommend the new ones though, not much of a difference.

I dont know if the guy is still selling the Deltas I have now or not, dont think he is, but I gottem for 10 bucks a piece.

Why not get some Yate Loon D12SH's?
Just do it like me and get another Blade Master. It's a good and quiet fan and you won't have to worry about fan mismatch.
Well you CAN use different fans, you just need to bother with them bottlenecking each other and this stuff. If I were you, I'd get a 2nd Blade Master 120mm. It's a great fan, PWM control, Quiet, Efficient...
another blademaster would be fine

i switched to these since they matched my phantom's fans.

they're quieter than the blademasters if that's your thing

I would use identical rpm fans if I were you. You can either go for another fan as it has stock or purchase two identical fans with high CFM such as I did

will fans take damage from different models?

I have a slipstream 1200rpm(1000-1200rpm) pushing through Mugen 2.

I want to add to other side a Kaze Maru 500rpm 140mm fan.
