I guess my R3E is biting the dust as well. =/

Onboard LAN never worked (it even fried a LAN switch at my old work place) and as of yesterday, whenever my SSD keeps writing and reading it makes really high squeeky sounds.
It doesn't make the sounds when the SSD is not connected to the mobo, and I ckecked to see where the noises are coming from, and it's not the SSD, as I held it away from the mobo as I tried to listen.

The reason I know it's making noise relevant to the read and writes of my hdd is because there's an orange led on my mobo that flashed on the rhythm of the noise, this led indicates that something is written or read from my mobo.

So, guess it's time to RMA this baby. =/

Asus should warrant an RMA on that board...they are typically very good with their enthusiasts boards when it comes to RMAing.

Yep, they are, but apparently, I still have to RMA it though the point of sales...
Which means it has to go through one of the SLOWEST RMA supplies of all times.

When I requested a DOA on the board they waited up until 2 weeks AFTER the DOA period expired.
Made me effin angry.
