Best/Cheapest Mid-Tower w/Handle

Thread Starter
I like to move my computer around to friends houses and parties and such, but I'm on a $70 or so budget. I was really looking for a good case with a handle or some easier way to carry it. It has to be an ATX mid-tower, and have really good ventilation. I have an H50 and a handful of fans... anything beats my terrible Ultra Gladiator

Antec 300? Solid case, just right size for what you need, I currently have my system housed in it, still got good room. and it's something i wouldn't mind banging and clanging moving about at Lans. (only problem is no handle. i always grab top of I/O plate steel and hold at front bottom with the other hand.)

Not sure what $70 would get in the UK but i can vouch for the Antec 300, i did a build in one and they are very good.

i think adding an extra 30 dollars or so to get the coolermaster scout would be much more beneficial than the 300...

If you can stretch your case budget to $79.99 the Cooler Master Storm Scout case is on sale with free shipping, has a top handle and great for LAN parties.

There's also a Storm Scout club thread in this forum if you need to know more.

Here's the link to the Newegg promotions page, just scroll down a bit and is on the right.

You need to subscribe to them (NewEgg) if not already and then input the promotions code to get it for $79.99.

Yeah, def. CM Storm Scout. The only other case I can think of that has a handle is the BitFenix Survivor which is more like $120 and you would have to get it from Canada, although since you live in Michigan so thats not too far away biggrin.gif

Jokes on me, I can only order from amazon because most of my cash is in gift cards there. They don't have the greatest deals though...

I'd sacrifice the handle for a case thats at least sturdy and has good cable management so everythings not flopping around.

Edit: Awww damn, I saw that NZXT Vulcan for $70 free shipping and got excited. Stupid Micro ATX :[

Antec 300 is a good case and is what I'd get. They're pretty cheap too. Here in Australia it's about $59, maybe cheaper depending on where you look smile.gif

Yeah definitely forgot to mention it. Really narrows my options. And a black interior is really stuck in my head...

I see the CM 690 II for $90 (grumble grumble)
NZXT M59 for $66
XION Predator for $75
