I agree, one guy's bad luck isn't representative of the company and though the natural train of thought is that said company has bad business practices there are things like observational bias, sample sizes, and the fact that the people who feel the most shafted are often the most vocal to consider before jumping to any conclusion that X company is better than Y company.

Also as it relates to reference graphics cards, I would say aggregate samples would suggest that REFERENCE designed cards have an equal failure rate across all brands. Moreover, if anything would affect a brand's RMA figures it would be that brand is thought of being "better" and is more readily bought by people who push their hardware hardest (and therefore have the highest failure rates).

Another thing to consider is that EVGA is the more popular video card brand in NA, which means it's more likely to have more rants on youtube.

EVGA or Asus, I'm sure either will be excellent.
Out of the 6 products I own from EVGA (4 video cards, 2 motherboards) they all still work. Can't say the same about my Asus P5N-E SLI though, thing died so fast even cyberpower couldn't fix it.

Prefer Asus over EVGA, anyday, everyday.

EVGA and ASUS are already the prefered brands on this website. Is this guy drunk in every video or is that just his natural appearance?

And how much is MSI paying him to do these youtubes?

JI'm working through a 3 month ordeal with Asus. Search my threads for my story. I have been an ATI Guy since the 5850 came out. Tried various vendors. Thought Asus was the to vendor for amd cards so I purchased their 5970. Broke in three months

Due to delays of getting a working 5970 back from asus, I purchase a evga 470. For me, I'm anti-asus.... selling the new 5970 when it arrives... going with evga... its another jump of faith

every company has its problems and there is nothing that you can do about it. The real difference is what everyone has said. evga has a lifetime warranty and step up, and asus has basically transferable warranties. I do know this though that I have had to send two emails too evga for problems and both were resolved in two hours(neither was a rma or anything like that)
