[PW] Google Offers Bounty Of $20,000 And CR-48 If Chrome Is Cracked. - Page 8

Indeed this is a huge stride to better safe guard humanity's disk drives from becoming infected, and many people will be thankful for this feature.

But it will take alot more than that to get me to switch from Firefox with NoScript, Adblock Plus, & Keyscrambler run in a sandbox via Sandboxie.

Because I get the best of four worlds, encrypted keystrokes in case I do get a keylogger or rooted, sandboxed browser, complete control over which scripts I need to run, and blocking ads.

In the end though you probably just saved me from having to help my Mom allow a script with NoScript because she is not as tech savvy as I, so I could just tell her to use Chrome. It drives me nuts, she complains about it, and there is nothing I can say to persuade her to use it. But then she loses the Keyscrambler functionality to fight against keyloggers. Sigh.

It was meant in a non litigious way. Just pointing out the exponential growth in the security area, and the fact that the best and brightest are usually recognized and snatched up long before they unleash malicious software.

As far as foreign hackers, not sure I'm understanding what you mean.

Challenge accepted!

Honestly though, if it does end up getting hacked it can only be beneficial to them in the long run, and it's only $20k.

Just $20k that's it? Meh, I would expect on of the richest corporations of the world to be more generous.
For $20k I'm not even getting up from my chair.
