Nvidia had some horrible screen tearing/blurred bar on 1080p video playback on the bottom (same spot every video) if you had aero off with everything until 266.xx drivers.

It was so funny to me how one would do it everytime and the beta driver wouldnt. I wonder how these little quirks get through driver testing with nvidia/ati. I would imagine they would have several different test machines set up with different configs to ensure everything is working before release but who knows....

fix one thing break another. glad you figured it out.... i know how frustrating stuff like that can be.
Yeah me too. Thanks for checking in!

It's completely fixed now. All the 6xxx series guys are blaming the problem on adapters and monitors but it's the drivers. 10.8 put it right back to normal and is running perfect.

I love Eyefinity!
I was told by AMD beta testers that it is because there is no physical way to lock the DP and DVI ports to be in sync. Monitors are turned on at different times, etc. There is no way to guarantee that the DP and DVI ports will be in sync in Eyefinity (unless you buy some special add-on device). Perhaps you are fortunate to have found a scenario where that works out for you.
