How to test fans/controller

I just received 14 GentleTyphoons from FrozenCPU today. My PSU and computer has not arrived yet (and won't even be ordered for another week or so).

I just want to make sure all the fans are currently in working order before I paint them.

Any idea how I could go about this?

My fan controller should be arriving later today but how do I test that without a computer?

Well if you just wanna see if they are working you'll need to find another pc and hook them up to the PSU. Perhaps someone in your surroundings also has got a pc? And if you want to check them with the controller, hook up the controller, and connect a fan to it.
You'll just need to find another pc.

There might be other ways to power a fan, but I wouldn't know how and not try it out.
