Thread Starter
hello, i bought this laptop 'bout a year ago. it's GPU overheated occasionally when i gamed heavily. but when gpu temp reached 100c gpu automatically downclocked and after sometime the temp returned to normal. but since last week even when i am not gaming like right now as i am typing this the gpu temp is usually around 100c-110c. i am damaging my gpu. what's the solution? bios fix or anything else?

My guesses would be either you fried it already or the temp sensor is broken.

Its prob dust accumulation. Get a can of compressed air and blast ur laptop fans by opening the bak up. Also give it a repaste.

Most likely this. Get one of these. I have one under my G72GX with GTX 260M and the GPU fan never speeds up unless I'm really stressing it.
