i am curious exactly to where i can add a folder in number 6 on the picture. Similar to documents when you hover a window will open. I want this similar effect but for a custom folder that will have certain programs i want in it.

thanks

If you don't use one of the folders that are available to use in the right pane of the start menu, like videos or music, you can go to library's and rename it to whatever you like. Right click on the folder you are customizing and then set folder location etc afterwards.
Not pretty or perfect but kind of a workaround.
