the more i read up on bulldozer the more i want one and the more i wonder exactly where the price will fall for the 8core cpu too. i'm curious if this new technology/production will be more expensive to build or less.

Microcenter's price is irrelevant. You're referring to a store that is selling it at a loss to get you into the store. That's why you cannot buy it online nor can you buy more than one. That's almost like quoting a used price!

This is only enticing me moar! I'd certainly buy a 8-core bulldozer if the performance was good enough.

Probably the only fud article I would believe but only because with the timing, anyone could have guessed they would be previewing bulldozer.

I'm an AMD fanboy and i don't think any of you heard, after this generation (45nm) of CPU's AMD is pulling out of the competitive CPU market against* intel and working on quality products that will last, i read this in an article last year, sorry i have no source, but i think JF-AMD can probably verify this, just saying don't expect anything that is far better than an intel product, although i really hope bulldozer delivers.
