Rad Size help !!

Thread Starter
Hey all,

I would like to get the rasa 240 kit that everyone is talking about. But I just measured how much space I would have for a double rad, and I dont think I have enough clearance to fit a rad at the top part of my case.

I have about 40mm of height from the top of my case to where either a fan or rad would start to touch the 8pin mobo connector. Obviously a fan+rad would not fit internally, so my question is: What would be the best route to go?

Preferably would like to keep everything internal, but I guess I could mount the radiator inside, and have two fans on the top outside the case? or what if I get two single rads in the same loop? is there much difference between two singles vs. one double?

Any suggestions/help would be awesome, I want to start setting this up soon !! first time watercooling, can't wait. Cheers !

I used 2 single rads for my sons comp for the same reason. 1 front(had to remove 1 HDD cage) and 1 rear. Works perfectly. I did not like rad-inside / fans-outside set-up.

2 singles would be fine, but most likely more expensive. I mounted my 240 rad on top of my 922 (outside) or you could also grab a bracket to mount on the back side of the case vertically.
