Upgrade/Physx Card

Thread Starter
So I waited for the 560, then realized I've got a busy schedule this semester and there are no major upcoming games that I'd buy before next fall/winter anyway. I still need to upgrade, but I'd rather wait for the next gen to spend $200-$400.

So what would you guys suggest in the $100-150 range (without rebates), thats better than an ati 4850 512mb, quieter, cooler, dx11 and will likely be good enough for physx in the future with a Nvidia 6xx or 7xx card?

I had been looking at this for $160...

Will fewer shaders vs the full 460 affect physx performance when I do a major upgrade in a year?

Edit: Monitor 24" @ 1920x1200 but sometimes I go lower in windowed mode to multitask
Also looking at GTS 450, not sure how much of an improvement it would be, but 1Gb ram would help a lot I'm sure

The 460 SE is way behind the regular 460. Spend a couple more bucks and get yourself a real one with 336 shaders

With PC Graphics slowing down thanks largely to console ports, I think you are wasting money. You are better off to buy that 560 now, its likely to last a few years unless you plan to go multi-monitor.

just my 2 cents.
