ASUS P67 Bluetooth problems

Thread Starter
So, I tested out my bluetooth headset using the built-in bluetooth on my Asus P67 Deluxe Motherboard and I was getting fine reception for about 1-2 feet from the computer...as soon as I would stand up or take a step away, nothing but static.

Is anyone having any luck getting clear reception using the built-in bluetooth on the motherboard?

Is there anything I can do to make things better?

I am NOT USING BT-GO software...would that make any difference?

Could it be my case or something else causing the weak signal/static?...or is the built-in bluetooth just garbage?

Thanks!

The antenna on the built in might just be crap.

I was able to walk away like 20-25 feet with my phone still connected fine to my P8P67 Pro. But it could just be that my phone has a way better antenna.

Connection works from a distance, but reception is horrible after 2 feet away for a headset.

I have yet to test mine out. I'll give it try soon.

Thanks, I encourage everyone to do so, so we can figure out if this is just all marketing BS...and if I should buy an external USB bluetooth adapter...
