Should I upgrade my Hanns-G 28"?

I bought this thing, I think 1 1/2 years ago, maybe closer to 2, but I was wondering if I can get much more monitor for the buck that I could when I bought this one?

When I saw it, 28" seemed huge at the time as I had been gaming on a 22", which also seemed rather large at the time when I bought that monitor.

Im just wondering for $300-$400, give or take, is there any upgrades worth making to my monitor? I plan on upgrading my GPU soon and I think it could easily handle a large monitor.

If the answer is no, is there any *bang for the buck* larger high-pixelated monitors on the horizon in the coming months?

I am not talking about LCD Tv screens either, as the pixels are larger on TV screens.

My parents have a 22 in and I have a 27. Its a huge improvement for sure.

Size wise, you're at the higher end of the spectrum when it comes to PC monitors. From the 27"/28" range you'd be looking at a 30" replacement, although the only recommendations that I can think of right now are IPS panels and well out of your stated budget. Most of these would be a substantial resolution upgrade though (see Dell's Ultrasharp 27" and 30" offerings for instance). I'm not aware of any 30" TN panels, but the viewing angles at that size might become an issue. I definitely notice some shift while viewing my 27" Asus.

I dont have enough deskspace, Im looking for single screen setups.

Also if they could thin down the bezel as small as possible I would consider a a larger desk and a multiple screen setup, but for now Im gonna stick with the one.

Theres a troll thread in the PC Games section about the annoyance of the Bezel, I was just curious if LCD monitors have come down in price much.

Im in the process of offloading my 32" 1080p xbr and picking up a dell u2711 on sale 25% off right now
