Oh wow. I feel for you man. Thats gotta suck :/ on a good note though you could build a good quad core amd setup for about $650 maybe less if you still have your case, psu, cd drives exc. I recently built a x4 640, 4gb of ram, and a gtx 460 for $588 for a friend, so it can definitely be done! You could almost definitely find a used 920 and a used 1366 board here too if you wanted to go that route.

everybody has accidents at that age, unfortunately your computer was involved on one of his accidents its just life. Good to see you got straight back up onto your horse and carried on building rigs, working your way back up! +rep

Your brother is 7 years old, give him a break (everyone).

Its your fault for not better protecting your computer from a small, rampaging, child armed with the mighty power if Kool-aid

In the later years it will probably end up a laughing matter, when you and your brother are sitting next to you 10THz 100core i700 computer with 100TB double-hexa-dual DDR100 Memory...."Remember that one time when you were 7 and dumped kool-aid on my old-as heck i7 build lol" ..."yeah I think i remember seeing red and purple sparks fly out, im suprised the kool-aid man didn't appear and say 'OH YEAHH!!!'".

Best of luck to you!

Hope you can...survive...with that ...Dell.
