22" at 1080p is too small. I upgraded to a 24" 1920x1200 and never look back. I actually put away my 22" for 6 month, in the closet, until today, I sold it for $100 twenty minutes ago. Once you have a 24" you don't even want look at anything smaller, unless your using 3, 22", for eyefinity

Edit; OP, if you want to upgrade to a 1080p make sure you buy a 24" LCD or bigger. I regret buying both 1680x1050 and 1920x1080 22" LCD. Don't make the same mistake.

If you want a bigger monitor, a Samsung 16:10 one is 1 inch taller and 1 inch wider.
