That is a very minor sidegrade.
Oh really? The major point I want to move away from my GTX465 is that it's power hungry and the fact I can't unlock it T_T

I want to play Metro 2033 decently and recent title games like Anno series.

The current games I play that are graphic-intense are only Black Ops and MW2.

Yes, my title as PC Gamer is over-stated so I'm looking forward to going out any buy some games out there since the Chinese new year has passed and I want to start anew with my recently built sig rig! (which I think needs a graphic card upgrade)

I really don't know. Maybe going to a 570 is a better idea for an upgrade? With a later 570 SLI.

Will do for sure. I remember you helping me out when I first got my 5770. Your clocks don't seem that bad? I'm going to be putting a gpu-only block on mine and some BCC9's on the ram

bummer you can't unlock it.

I am buying a twin frozr II unlocked to a 470 next weekend.

200$ and already unlocked. Fresh from rma so they are new cards and have 2 years left on the warranty.
And I can sell my 2gb gtx 285 with the Accelero Xtreme cooler for 150$+ easy.

Yeah, I had a deal around here for 2 MSI GE unlocked 465->470s but I opted to go for a 500 series solution.

The major factor I'm looking into new cards is more power with less power consumption--> less heat--> less noise. I'm not a SPCR guy or anything but my last rig was decent enough but sounded like a friggin' jet engine. Also with less heat I want to OC them to get just as much perf.

My current setup stays quite but I feel it lacks GPU power.. I need to upgrade... MORE POWAH.
