Crash after login

Everytime i log into windows i get blue screen. Right before all this started my mouse was acting weird, like moving on its own and my pc was kinda laggy. Ofcourse first thing i tired was restarting my pc since my pc almost runs 24/7 and thought it just needed a restart. After that my mouse was still acting strange and after about 5 mins i got blue screen first time. Does anyone know to to fix this?

At the moment im running in safe mode and I already tried a couple of things, like runing my virus and running CCleaner. but no luck so far.

Im running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Thanks

Edit: Okay now when i start up, both my screens stay black after i login. When i press Ctrl + Alt + Del and start op task manager. I get bluescreen...

Right now, im really confused lol..

Edit2: System restore point to one day before this didnt work neither. Help please!

Try booting into Safe Mode(F8) and go to your Control Panel and uninstall the latest Windows Update.

WHen you go to Uninstall a Program, there's an option on your left to show installed updates. Go by the date of the install that your problems started.

That's what I would try first.

Okay, so i tried what you said. At first it seem to work and my pc started up normally. But after a a couple of seconds my pc froze and my G15 keyboard showed that 1 of my cores was running at a 100%. I waited for a couple of mins, but it was still frozen so i restarted my pc. After that i got the same issue as before again.. At the moment im running in safe mode again...

Anymore ideas what i might be able to try out?

It's tough to say if this is HARDWARE or Software related.....

Boot Ubuntu 10.10 i386 version (download it & burn it) and run the Live CD (boot from it), if it runs fine, then I'd suspect it's a software issue, probably virus / malware / etc..

If you don't feel like doing that much work, run an Avira Rescue CD (boot disc) to try to remove any issues you are having... This MAY help, but it's not guaranteed.

The fastest way to fix your problem is to use Ubuntu to remove your files you want to save to another media device or DVD and then wipe the hard drive...

Reinstall windows & update it, then make a backup of your installation...

If you don't have the original install disc, or it's a MFG OEM Computer, then you will need to restore the computer, do a destructive wipe!

Run a chkdsk on your hard drive.

Your installation of windows may have corrupted data.

Check event viewer while you are in safe mode to see if there are any errors first and foremost. This will point you in the direction of what to troubleshoot other than your mouse being laggy.

Either you have a sector of your hard drive that has corrupt data or your hard drive is dying.

If you can download Seatools and burn it to disc and boot to it. And run a test on your hard drive. This will tell you if your hard drive is going bad or not.

Well i doubt that it is my hardware, but ill try it tomorrow.

Also is it posseble to copy my program files and users folders to a external harddrive if i need to reinstall windows and copy them back after?
Or some other way to make a backup, since i cant afford losing any software...

EDIT!: Just did a Clean startup. and that seems to work.. So its something with my software but i dont know what yet.
