1090T Problems? Faulty cores? Overheating problems?

Thread Starter
What's all these problems I've been reading about on reviews? With the recent price drop to 199.99, I'm considering getting the 1090T, but I need to clarify these issues first. Anyone care to explain?
The overheating issues is because people dont realise how hot the cores really are. The price drop is probably due to Sandy Bridge.

So there's nothing really wrong with the CPU? I don't want to buy a bad CPU because I'm pretty new with these stuff, and buying bad parts would give me nightmares.

No its not a Bad CPU

You just need to make sure your board supports it (Some may need to be flashed to work with it!) make sure you have sufficient cooling. You can easily choke pretty much any cooler worth less then $40.

Just get a high quality motherboard with good phases. The cheaper motherboards with 4+1 phases are sketchy with X6 processors.

1. 3.8ghz, never went over the "safe" 62c. (I had it when they first came out, sold it 2 weeks later, didn't get a chance to mess with it much)

2. $28 on amazon free shipping
