I am litterally about to snap my Antec 300

The front of it... it hooks on via snap on "pins" which are only unattachedable via the inside...which requires me to move my case of of my desk, which isn't exactly very easy. It has a dust filter in it. A fliter which clogs itself.... Very very often. I think im going to snap em off and secure the front (only the locking mechanism, on the left side of the the front panel) to i can swing it off and have easy access.

I upgraded from my Antec 300 to my Corsair 600T. And man what a change. It is very enjoyable to build in this case. Plus the dust filters are removable from the outside. The Antec 300 is a pain to build in. Only thing is that the 600T is a larger case, and costs a little more.

I am now modding my Antec 300 to be a HTPC case, and its a good case to mod.

Side note: How you liking your P7P55D-E Pro?? I remember when you were asking about it, and I recommended it and answered a couple questions for ya.

It's on your desk and getting clogged that often? Maybe you should clean that room more often?

I bought mine for $120, which is only twice the average price. But it is x4 the case. The extra money was well justified IMO. Not hatin on the Antec 300, its just a cheap solid case.

Maybe you can mod the front mesh in front of the filter. Put a screen/filter on it, and somehow make the mesh removable. Not sure of the best way to do so though.

Not to sound rude but you're complaining about a budget case... You get what you pay for.

Actually, its been hell

No, I'm kidding. It runs like a dream. The only problem is that after i redid some cable management, and now it only picks up 3.5gb of ram. Apart from this, only other issue is that sometimes is bsods's during sleep, but i blame that on a old ide boot drive (even though i got the WD Black, i used a glicthy image form the IDE. I reinstall is coming soon).

Thanks for remembering and asking. It show's the best of OCN's community.

Thanks for the help with my first ever build!

It's not on my desk. On the bottom, my desk has a compartement made of computers. It is sitting there, very close to the floor. I have 2 120mm fans runnig fairly fast, so it sucks up dust

On a sidenote, i dropped the retention plate of the Hyper 212 on the mobo when fixing some TIM, and almost shat myself.

I got rid of my 300 for a 900, I miss my 300, the 900 is a pain, wish I had never bought it. I love the 300 despite what everyone says about it.
