TAX REFUND! Need some upgrades to blow it on.

Thread Starter
So, My income tax refund is looking like a good $350 Yah, government. Anyway, I have a 42" 1080p 120Hz LCDTV coming in. I am looking to put the $350 refund into good use. I have already decided that my system needs a new HDD, OS, GPU, and BD Drive. I just need to find the right ones. A SSD is out of my price range, but I need something that has a good balance of speed and storage.

I do not wish to upgrade any other component unless I get a fantastic deal. So let's keep the focus on the ones I have described. Thanks in advance guys.

agreed.... a new GPU would be the next best upgrade. Get a Ati Radeon 6950 and flash to 6970.

I believe I may have found a suitable low-mid range card to accent my system. What do you think of the GeForce GT 440? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121426

Just buy a lot of beer. And think about the fact that the government is giving you your money back and they didn't even pay you any interest.
