Tired of trying new mice, HELP!!!

Hi guys,

I´m looking for a fingertip grip mouse. I used to have an Orochi but it was awful in wireless, then I switched to a G9x and the "braided" cable was a nightmare + the wheel and covers sucked. I have now a Kone+ but the thing is just massive for my medium size hands plus the cable is just poor as well.

Looking for something for fingertip grip, right handed, comfy, with braided cable or wireless if it works well and I don´t mind the number of buttons (5-6 is ok), laser or optical doesn´t bother me.

I´ve been thinking on pulling the trigger on the Xai but I´ve seen the Imperator and looks ok, even if vouched not to buy anymore Razer products after the Orochi... another option was the G700 but it looks really big.

Price wise I´m based in Europe so I can´t buy from Newegg and such.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

It may or may not suit your needs but I have been getting everyone on the Logitech MX Revolution... best mouse I have ever used... everything else = garbage. http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/..._MX_Revolution

If I was in your shoes, I would stick with razer. Imho they make the best mice!
I find myself pretty good with the Lachesis, but that's more for a palm grip.
You should try out the Imperator instead (as you said), which got a ****load of nice reviews, or the Naga if you play MMORPGs.
Oh yea, quick tip: don't buy directly from Razer, you'll get better prices somewhere else!

The wheel on the thumb of the MX Rev. kills it for me...

Cheapest price for the Imperator 61.95€ = 84.5$

Cheapest price for the Xai 67.95€ = 92.6$

I had it was fed up with the "horrible cable + squeaky wheel + noisy cover". The grip is awesome though...

This is no offence to you, but I have to protest.

You know.. There is no perfect mouse. Logitechs scrollwheels and side buttons suck.

Razers glossy sides and sensors suck.

And so on..

It's all about finding the right balance of least faults in the mice.

I have the razer imperator since I use all 3 grip styles and never lift my mouse. The benefits of this mouse over another mouse are huge FOR ME. I KNEW about the faults before the purchase, but I still got it. I researeched but couldn't find a mouse that better fit my criteria.

It's all about finging the mouse with the least flaws. But basically, every mouse is gonna have them. There's no preventing that.

But yeah... If you have an electronics store near you, you could always ask to try gripping the mouses there. At least where I live, most of the gaming mice are freely testable at the store. You could see how the xai or something feels.

I know every mouse has its flaws, there´s no perfect one.

Testing mice over here is close to science fiction. I think I´ll go with the Imperator and see how it goes, if it´s not so hot then I´ll try the Xai...

Imperator has glossy sides and not the best sensor

But it's the best if you insist on using all grips, like me.

Other than that, maybe not worth it.
