Tired of trying new mice, HELP!!! - Page 2

Because I don't use a traditional desk/chair set up. I use a Leather La-Z-Boy chair I prefer trackball mice, this guy just came out in september and is a huge improvement over the last line. Wireless is awsome, I can use it anywhere I can see the TV.

Wow, I thought the g700 would be almost as big as the Kone+ I´m actually using but it doesn´t look that big.

Thanks for the pic.

P.S. G700 is ok for fingertip?

Well the g9x was also my first recomendation but it looks like the cord gives you nightmares so it's really hard to think of anything else for fingertip use that lives up to the same performance. The CMStorm Spawn looks like a possibility but one of the early buyers said it felt a little weird holding so I can't speak for that mouse just yet till there are more peer reviews. I have heard the newer Razer Abyssus doesn't have jitter problems like it used to so you may consider that mouse as well. Beware that it is extremely light though.

If you're looking for a mouse to try, I'd highly recommend you use an MX518... Pretty much everyone I know owns one, and it's an overall excellent mouse that's only $35ish U.S... The feel of it is by far one of the best, or close to the best mouses I've ever used, and is capable of a 500hz polling rate with a little bit of windows modification. Which results in excellent accuracy... The DPI is lower than some mice, but that really only ultimately affects how sensitive you want to make your mouse (or atleast in my experience). Polling rate is much more important imho

Anyways, here's a link http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-p...e/devices/4259

Have a good one!

I'd also recommend this... A little expensive $60-80 U.S.ish, same polling rate as the mx518, but better DPI... It feels a little different, and has an awesome logo on it, but if it isn't the mx518 you want to get, I'd recommend this mouse second. I do believe it's also an ambidextrous mouse.

I know it's only a cheap one but how about the Gigabyte GM-M6880.

It has these nice indents that cradle the fingertips, it has 3 DPI settings and the scroll wheel is responsive and makes no noise. Also the mouse cable feels like you are rolling string between your fingers (very pliable).
It can be had for between $13-$20.

G700 is an awesome mouse I must say. I only received it yesterday, but it surely got 7 hours of continuous use from me. During that time, my hand or fingers didn't fatigue. I alternate between fingertip, claw, and palm grip at any given moment in a game (mostly FPS games depending on what I need to do) and everything just works in my favor. It is a somewhat large mouse, but fairly light in comparison to my brothers fully weighted R.A.T. 7 at least when in hand and is even more light, if I decide to remove the 2000mAh Nimh battery and use it corded.

The texture I like a lot. Instead of using that temporary silicone coating (you know, the ones that start to peel off after a few months of use?) It's textured plastic around the sides that give the satin finish. Great mouse and if you have the opportunity to check it out in person, I suggest you do.
