OCing 555 to 4.0 ghz - Page 2

Set bus clock to 200 or 240 to be able to run RAM at 1600Mhz. Set timings manually. Set voltage to 1.65V
post #12 of 14
Thanks, but no such luck. I've tried manually setting the timings several times. All fail. I've to set it all to the SPD for 1600 but no dice every time. For my cpu FSB Freq it is stuck at a default of 220MHZ. I couldn't see any way to change it at all. I looked quite a bit. Any other settings that might be off?

Check in the bios and change the RAM ratio...has numbers like 1:4 and 1:3 and stuff like that..change that to 1:4 and see what speed you get...this works for me instead of trying to tune using the FSB...my RAM volts are stock though so i don't know what voltage to recommend.
