Price is really what will determine what card people will recommend, what is the max you are willing to spend?

okay. The Max Resolution of my monitor 1440 x 900 / 60.0 Hz but I run it at 1024 x768 / 60.0 Hz.

my computer is a Q6600 2.4Ghz.
Intel core 2 quad

I had it custom built from Velocity Micro about two and a half years ago. (The time may be a little off.)

I am willing to spend up to about $200 dollars right now but if waiting a few months will get me more for my money is the right thing to do........that I am willing to do.

Sorry for taking a bit to get back.

This is the card i was talking about, priced over 200$ though. Look for lower price for same model in different stores. One more thing, which smps do you have? name, model and wattage......

Power Supply 550 Watt Velocity Micro® Power Supply

Motherboard Board NVIDIA nForce 630i based chipset, DDR2, mATX, PCI-e

Processor Intel® Core™ 2 Quad processor Q6600, quad 2.4GHz cores, 8MB L2 Cache (+$100.00)

Hope that helps.

yeah

Anyway, I cant find any info on that psu on google, their site wont even open.
I can also see that you are interested on the gtx460, its a super card..... i have bought both of the models for my friends and they are really great.
To run these cards safely you must have a good psu with two dedicated 6pin 75watt lines. Since I cant find any info on your psu( and also havent heard the name before), I have to assume that its a simple psu not capable of running that card safely. ( If anyone else knows about that psu please help him/me out here ).
If it turns out that you have to buy a new psu, go for corsair650W.
