My New Build, Upgrading From 640

What's going on everybody. This is gonna be my new build that I'm working on for my music production daw. Not going to be used for gaming, just music production, internet, and little video/photo editing. If you have any suggestions please let me know. What I already have is: Thermaltake V3 Case, BFG 450 Watt PSU, 3 HDD's, coolermaster Hyper 212+, XFX Radeon HD 5670, M-Box Fast Track Pro, and BX5a studio Monitors. Here is the list of my upgrades.

Just a suggestion....

For most media editing PC's, it is a good idea to consider a RAID 3 or 5 array.

With HD video editing you are often moving, encoding, and compressing files that are many GB's in size so hard drive speed is often a bottleneck. Also, if you are doing photo/video/music editing, backing up your work is often a big deal. Hard drives storage space is cheap, so it's something to think about.

Other than that, it looks like a solid build.

1. I find the Ripjaws better than those Blackline for the same price
2. Samsung F3 1TB for $63 on

3. If you can get an Athlon II deal for cheaper (and don't mind somewhat less overclocking), you won't really need the L3 cache of the Phenom II for your apps; it usually only benefits gaming.
