Should I add another card in SLI or just upgrade?

Same as the title states, but a few questions first:

1. What other card can i use with my 250...i'm not sure but is it the 9800?

2. Does it even make sense to spend more money for a second card?

3. What kind of power requirements would be needed, could my psu push the 2 cards?

Ok so now back to the question, should i add a card in sli or should i just upgrade. I was looking at the EVGA gtx460 or 465 super clocked which my psu can run. Or should i go for an ATI card maybe a 5850 perhaps.

When i buy the new card i will also buy a new monitor 1920x1080

Well, if it were me, I'd upgrade.
Well, dont know to be honest, you dont want a new high end gfx card as your cpu will bottleneck it.

GTX 460 is one of the best gfx card in terms of price/perfomance ratio. I gladly say, get a GTX460.

I'm not really going high end...i'm leaving a high end build for next year...when sandy bridge and bulldozer both settle down and we know more about the two...so for now i'll spend like between $200-260

If you get a GTX 460 be sure to get the 1gb. version, the 768gb. one has a 192 bit memory bridge were the 1gb. version has a 256 bit bridge

I would upgrade. The SLi method for me has been sort of a bumpy road and at times it's nice, but most of the time I wish I had gone with one 480 or 580.

Thanks guys for the advice on the SLI vs. upgrade...i think a 470 is out of the question because my psu only has i think 36amps on the 12v rail...or should that be enough...i think while on amazon i saw a 470 that needed 38amps...but is there really a big difference from a 460 to a 465 to a 470?...or will a decent overclocked 460 get the job done?

that card isn't worth SLi, I would upgrade to a 260GTX 216 SP, 4850 / 4870 or a 460GTX
