No, Dont worry about it, rule of thumb = 12 * 38 = 456Watts.... a 470 doesn't draw that much power.

I think is the load on the entire PSU 12V line is 38amps? right? you should be fine that is Not taking how much power other components are drawing..

AMD-dude what is your reason for upgrading?
and if better performance in games is your reason what games are you playing?
at what res. and settings

My main reason is because i will be upgrading my monitor for crysis 2 and this card could hardly play crysis 1 even at 1600x900 with high settings...a few other games i would also like to replay just to see them in HD goodness like modern warfare 1/2, but agian main reason is to play crysis 2 in hd
