Well the 1055T isn't the fastest processor for gaming, so it's quite plausible especially with a GTX 580 OC..

i had a similar problem and it wasnt the ram speed that was at issue,it was the timings,your overlcocking the fsb by doing this tightens the ram timings,you may be able to run the ram at full speed with your standard timings if you know them

your GTX 580 would perform more if you increase the frequency...let say 3.8Ghz
I've been at 4Ghz with no issues.. try playing around with the ram timings. let say 6-6-6-18
and dont leave the settings on auto...from default voltage of ram, try to increase a bit more and also put a bit more on the NB voltage....
It is known that if you increase the CPU NB a bit more than 1.2v will help
keep HT link and NB frequency at 2000mhz
if you fail Prime with in 3hrs...that might be your ram...
