Try to aim for something that's either 1680x 1050 (I believe that's 16:9 aspect ratio, which is very important, although I don't know much about aspect ratios in particular) or 1920x1200

The tv above is in your budget, it's res is not too good, but it has good ratings and is cheap. Try for something like that, but try for something with 60hz primarily. Sorry I can't find anything too good, I'm not too affluent with UKs electronic stores (been to UK many times and for many months but don't remember exact shops, sorry )

Can you list some other sites that you can buy from?

Also look for:
Anything below 8ms (seriously ms does not matter, as long as its below 8ms
16:9 or preferably 16:10 aspect ratio
60hz - 120hz ( could be out of price range)
NON LED TV ( DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY AN LED TV)
Any manufacturer like Samsung or LG is good, I prefer Samsung. Sony is another option, but most TVs are the same.

DO NOT:
look at contrast ratios or other gimmicky things. to learn more about monitors in general look up tftcentral.com (or co.uk I forget)
They have a great resource page to learn all you need to know about monitors.

Anyways good luck man, and if there's any way I can help, just post here or PM me.

Sorry bro...? What's wrong? What have you looked at so far? I still don't recommend purchasing a 32" as in your price range it just doesn't seem like it's worth it.

Quite a few LCD tvs have IPS(and variants) panels.

As for 2010 TV models.. You're going to have to read up as there are very few with no input lag(even with game mode). I think the LG d450 series is the leader as far as PC gaming. No input lag and it supports 4:4:4 colour space properly. Next is the Sony EX400 series, but I believe it has a frame or 2 which is no more then most Dell/Samsung monitors.

You will want to avoid 120hz+ TVs. LED is a waste unless you have a few thousand for a full RGB array backlit model. They are the only good ones.

Most large TVs have IPS lcds.

Dude Op is on a budget of around $350 (when it comes to electronics £ = $) and wants a 32". Those cant fit the budget, only ones I can think of is the u3011h, 3007wfc, hpzr30 and NECs displays, all cost quadruple his budget. Read is OP.

Sorry op I suppose you can go with whatever fits your budget like I said, just avoid LED like the plague.
