Like I mentioned above, this is the smoothest you will find for any non metallic/glass surface. It has the quickness of an aluminum surface but the control of cloth.

I'm surprised Exousia hasn't popped his head in here yet. He's the one that turned me on to this pad in the first place. He has a long review of it floating around here somewhere.

alright then i think i will get one for sure then! I am glad that i did not have to settle for Razer because that is what i though i would have to do and i am not a big fan of Razer.

Too bad they do not have one in navy blue, i would prefer that but no big deal. What is the rev 2.0 supposed to have over the current mousepad? It seems to me like it would be really hard to improve a mousepad lol.

EDIT: also, how thick is the mosepad? I dont really like pads that are a whole centimeter off the table, they get annoying to me. That was the whole reason i stopped using one in the first place

They do have a Navy large in stock on their site, but it's soft. I don't have any experience with the soft, but Exousia says it's the same thing basically. The difference is only in the material sandwiched in between the mouse surface and the rubber backing.

I don't know anything about the Rev 2. Unless it's a new drummer for A7x (bad joke).

but how thick is it anyways? Thin would be nice but this sounds like one hell of a mousepad and i can get one for 20 dollars, waay better deal than i thought i would get today!

3mm your average mousepad thickness. But it looks like a piece of paper next to the Qck Heavy underneath it.

I am using the Steel Series 4HD and if I tap my mouse when it isn't in my hand it slides across the pad and slams into my tower.

I had to order it on the Steel Series website because all Newegg has is the 9HD which is to large for my desk space I had for my mouse.

i dont mean any disrespect but Backfat seems to have had both and he says the japanese mousepad owns, so i will go for that one!

Due to the response, I went with the Qck Heavy. Shame I wasted $30 on that though only to find the Kai.g3 a few days later.

It does make a comfy mousepad for my real mousepad though lol.

If you're looking for a navy blue one, Amazon has the Kai.G3 HIEN Soft/L Value edition for 23.10

It's basically the same surface feel, but spongier (Actually softer than the "Soft" version) with more stopping control.
