Intel 2600K cooling help

Thread Starter
I just bought a Intel 2600K processor. I opened the box and the cooler is so small. I have a core i7 950 stock cooler laying around. It appears to be bigger. Im wondering if it would provide better cooling.

the i7 950 stock will provide better cooling by not by a lot at all. You're better off just buying an after-market cooler like the CoolerMaster Hyper212+ for like $30.
