Hey all... got a quick question.. I got an HP Pavilion DV6000, refurb, that ive had for the last 3 years now. Its been fairly good, except the physical Ethernet Port doesnt seem to be able to transmit the Ethernet signal to the Mobo. It connection lights still come on and everything tho. Im curious if anyone has had this problem before, or can tell me what to do to possibly repair it...

Have you check if the correct driver is installed?
Do you see any unknown devices in the device manager?
Start>My Computer>Properties>Device manager
