Pretty much, my dads company is looking to buy 50 of these cards. To me this looks OVERKILL for ANY realworld applications. The company is BAE Systems, they work on making jets, missles, radars, ect.. Its kind of like a bigger version of the company Raytheon.

I guess what I am asking is this type of card necessary? This is what he asked me, though he cannot tell me what programs there running... All I know is that the cards will be ran on a version of Linux. 64GB of ram was mentioned... Just dropped my jaw after that but w.e...

What kind of other hardware am will these computers need to NOT bottleneck at all? Kind of confused, I never new other cards existed beyond Nvidia's Quadro lineup. Say the 1.5Ghz core clock, and I saw the giant ass memory interface and wondered why they don't release this stuff for the GeForce line up...

Please comment back on any information you could have on these cards...Google wasn't too helpful.
