High end cards run hot. I dunno if you realize this, whether it be a 570 or a 6970.

That is exactly the vent I was tlking about. Thanks! I realize they run hot, what do you suggest tsm, should I just get myself some arctic fans? I'm not just goingt o ditch the 6970. I just don't want the fan to rev up and down constantly while playing something like DS2.

Avoid the reference AIR coolers.

If you get a card with a non-reference cooler, as an added benefit, get one with whats called a "reference pcb" design, this has to do with the pcb not the cooler (two different things) because most full cover water blocks only apply to reference pcb design.

reference cooler:

non-reference cooler:

Its a bit confusing, but if you're not interested in water, then just go with either three gtx 570 I posted before. good luck

Yeah, only 2 though, for the GPU to have connections in it.

That is not a vent. That is a slot for an expansion card that doesn't need a PCI slot, perhaps USB ports or a fan controller. No need (or point, really) to removing it. Put your side fan as intake, front fans as intake, and top/rear fans as exhaust. 95C isn't too hot for GPUs and I bet it goes down with some fans that really move air. Also, how is your cable management inside your case?

Just get some decent fans and point them in the right direction in your case and in the right ratio for ex. 3 intake 3/4 exhaust.

There's absolutely no sense imo in swapping cards just because it runs hot when the alternative is really no better especially when you don't know why it runs hot. See if you can make a change for the better with fans and changing the duty cycle on the fan then worse case change the card.

I think it's good, has lots of room, although I'm not an expert. I am gonna get a pic up tomorrow with what the inside of my case looks like.
