DDR2 Mobo for Phenom II X3

Thread Starter
I'm looking to replace the dead UD4P in my sig rig but it seems there aren't many DDR2 boards these days, at least on Newegg.

Preferably $100 or less, mATX and onboard graphics of some kind would be a bonus. Just something that could keep me web browsing in the event I don't have a dedicated GPU, though this part isn't a high priority.

Right now I'm looking at the MSI 785GTM-E45.

Thoughts or recommendations?

Have a look at an ASUS. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131595

I have built 3 systems with these mobos and for a budget DDR2 board you can't go wrong. PM me if have any questions.

I´d go for that Asus as well before the MSI.
The MSI doesn´t have great feedback. The Asus only has 1x PS2 conn. So usb mouse or keyboard needs to be considered.

I'm about to order the ASUS, but before I do can anyone comment on the onboard audio, VIA VT1708S? I could get 5.1 via Optical with the UD4P's ALC888 since it supported Dolby Digital Live, but it doesn't appear the VIA supports either DDL or DTS Connect. Any options or am I out of luck?

The Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2 caught my eye since it also has the ALC888 chipset, but it looks like they've removed the Optical out on later revisions. Bah. D:
