I'm not even sure she really knows how to use it...

I'd like to see how many people have a land line. I haven't had one for several years. I never used it.

I am genuinely surprised it's not higher. I think it would be above 90% here, everyone has a mobile phone. Homeless, elderly, children.

I know people who live in run-down villages of 3rd world countries, and even THEY have cell phones. So I'm pretty sure that statistic needs to be a lot higher.

No cell phone here I have a land line so I see no need in paying another phone bill. Besides there is nothing more annoying than standing in line at the store and having to listen to some Borg wannabe ramble on to himself like some kind of nut.

I fall under the 15% that do not have a cell phone

No use for one, but if I did it would be the android.

I've never felt the need for a cellphone. I had one at one point, but never used it really, and gave it away. Cellphones mostly piss me off because people do not show proper etiquette when using them. People spend way too much time on the things, when they should be doing things like looking both ways before crossing the street, socializing with the people in their physical space and not ignoring them in favor of answering every text message exactly when it's received. I just look at people who use their cell constantly and think, "like hell I'll ever look like that". Now, I guess it's not the cellphone I am against, it's the way many people have chosen to use them over the past few years. I knew I was part of a minority in regard this opinion, but I am actually a little surprised at the numbers. I wonder if Canada would show a similar statistic?

I only have had 2 cellphones, my current one is a sony ericsson and the most use I make out of it is taking pics/recording videos and use it as an alarm clock The rest, only when I really need it.
If I want to talk to people, I use my computer which is better than a cellphone.
It bothers me that people are always way too busy talking in their cellphones and don't pay attention to the people they're actually standing in front of...

Oh I completely agree with you. I also don't like how people expect me to be available 24/7, and if I don't answer the phone for whatever reason it suddenly means I'm ignoring you. But that doesn't stop me from using it the way I want to.

I don't know many people that have cell phones. But then in Canada, a cell phone is a pretty expensive proposition because of the duopoly that controls it, and the poor areas of coverage that make them annoying to use.

I used to have one, but once AT&T left the Canadian market, I couldn't be bothered to travel to Buffalo twice a year to get it refilled - and even then, I'd have to pay pretty steep roaming fees. I decided to wait until we get a real cellular network - which saves me lots because I doubt Canada will every have one.
