Replacing oem HP case - Page 4

I wish I could do it right away, but I'm not the one who buys the parts. My dad and I are into computer building and such, so he is one who finances everything. I mean, everything. I've never bought a single part myself for any reason. Its just how our family operates. It also does NOT mean that I whatever I want, whenever I want it. I have to do a whole bunch of convincing and almost pleading.

He's pretty cool with getting parts for upgrades and such, and he does realize that this PC does need a nice cooler. I'd actually say that he is willing to get the necessary parts... however, he did spend close to 2k on my i7 sig rig. And that was just over a month ago.

Obviously, the whole upgrade shouldn't cost over $100, if I play the cards rights... but, you never know...
