coolermaster r4: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103060

silent, pushes a good amount of cfm, comes with a 3 to 4pin connector.

Those don't even look like they have the 4 pin molex connectors like I need... unless I am not seeing it in the pictures.
The silents are pwm. the wings up here in Canada are much cheaper. I got mine for like 11$ a pop.
and derp, the wings and silents come with an adapter to molex AFAIR.
edit: nevermind they don't the adapters are cheap.

Now that is more like it... but is that 19db rating for real? That seems almost too quiet.

EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, I would probably be better off just getting a fan controller. The fans I have now are molex but I forgot about the inline speed controls. So if I just got a molex fan without any kind of inline RPM control then they would spin at full RPM all day long and probably be loud as hell.

Far from 19 DB

I like my R4's quite a bit. Only reason I'll be getting rid of them is because of the Gentle Typhoon 2150s I'm getting. They're definitely not 19 dB, but they're quiet enough for me and push a good amount of air. I don't think it's the greatest on my Mugen 2, but I'm yet to try other fans, and I'm pretty happy with my temps right now. The only things I can hear right now are the stupid Antec fans my case came with... I will cry tears of joy when I get rid of them.

It almost seems like replacing my whole case would be a better use of my money than replacing each fan... even at at like $15 a fan, I would probably need a fan controller, so probably like $40 for that. I need to replace 3 fans minimum, but I also want to try to add two more on the side panel where I have no fans at the moment.

So 15*5 is 75 + 40 for the controller is $115 then any shipping charges so I would probably be looking at $120-125 which is just as much as a new decent case...

yep its not 19dba at all but it is quiet for the amount of air it pushes.. it says 90cfm but ive read on here that it pushes around 70-80 and is at about 24-26dba iirc.

See now why can't more fans be like this. For $17 you get a fan with the molex adapter, a little fan speed controller, and a fan grill.

i have that fans older brother, the fm123. pushes a good amount of air and has a good amount of static pressure as well. but it gets really loud at full blast. these fans are more suited as heatsink fans btw

4 of these $20 + 1 of these $14 = $34 + shipping .

There's also the cheaper yate loons from svc for $4 each if you buy at least 3 although they're not as good as the ones from petra's.

You may want to get a nicer fan controller like the rheobus extreme. But the cheap one still does 20w per channel IIRC which is plenty.

And seriously, a new case won't come with a bunch of awesome fans .
